When life's crises come, its where we grow most
wow, i really find that so so true.

In a way, through difficult or testing times, you learn to:

1) Seek advice from the RIGHT people (don't go to any Tom Dick or Harry hahaha)
2) Find out where your foundations(basics) are grounded
3) Solve life's problems in a different/creative way

hm......and then when the truth of the matter or the truth of your character is revealed.....
hooray! no more baggage....till the next battle comes, that is. then repeat steps one to three.

great evening though the Day started out with TONS of prayer driven by.....uncertainty.
I'm almost solved with one problem and in the midst of dealing with another. basically in my company there's the Allied Forces and the Nazis.....there's gotta be a way to unite them....how?

I reeally felt i was a bad testimony today at work.....
totally horrid, i felt and this time it was MY ugly work ethics i saw too.
......that i had to leave the place for the day quietly.
but despite the stuff i told my gals today....
Yijia still said it was great as she could tell God had a purpose
For my being there without other students lah......

ntu cell at east coast

Great DG time today with Jane and Mimi and Jun Xiang......this tune came in to my mind: There's gotta be more to life than chasing out every temporary high to satisfy me.

Some excerpts from the Antinomian CD*:
  • Jesus is the way, the TRUTH and the Life. so it's about Truth together with grace, not just grace itself.
  • Cheap grace is the for the disciple who wants salvation but without TRUE obedience
  • so are the 10 laws of the heart given to Moses negotiable??
pretty blatant but imagine if God didn't keep his promises and his own laws? How would THIS earth be run? On gasoline??

on to lighter stuff, today's DG. it was what else but sharing of our work bluez and highs. hahaha....i just wanna laugh at how i got sooo worried in the morning about starting a new week. the world out there isn't a very clean place. work ethics could easily get compromised.

~*East coast blading, Aviator and sincerity*~
hm....i need a chocolate high this evening, what with all the running and blading round the skate section in east coast. our cell *all but kailun as he's a pro in skating liao* decided we were too amateur for the main cycling road so we headed for the 'beginner's section' and boy was that pure fun man!! but i fell bad 7 times on the same part of right knee!! free music there though. wheee......all to make up for last night's pig-out and curiosity of a new sport. well met a couple of kelvin's acquaintances (very music ppl) at excelsior s.c. looking at guitars later. all in all, EVERYbody enjoyed one way or another. cool.

yep......it's been 4 days after watching that The Aviator has struck a chord in my mind again. like why are the repurcussions so delayed?? maybe cos the whole turnout fr crusade (14 came) put me on high--too high to think clearly.
(i mean a lot of us really wanted to start this movie/outings committee to bond better and it was a big encouragement to see many faces. )
the question i'm wondering about is, why on earth did howard become so obsessed over hygiene and putting bugs in his phones and why the suddenness? brain koyak liao ah. come to think of it, the more intellectual and factual and thot-provoking movies leave me thinking more than stuff like phantom of the opera. hahaha. oh must give credit to ivan chin, our Ahmad of crusade who whisked 6 of us home in his minivan, that we weren't home tooo late.

hm.....matthea got me thinking just now, about some smart facts underlying bgr *as in boy girl friendships* again. totally eye opening. hahaha. *force myself to shut up*

gee, with the amt of verbal diarrhoea i have on blog each day, might as well be a journalist man. argh. wrong future in engine?? help, God. ok......doozing off again.....

It TAkes:

1) Love to go the EXTRA MILE for someone

2) Humlity to be humble even when things go well

3) Love to overlook faults in another human being

4) Patience to keep working on building relationships with those closest to you

5) Love and care not to hurt someone when handling their fears or their heart

6) Love to be friends with someone first despite inwardly dying to be more than friends
( i noticed this happening a lot in Christian circles where the brothers actually want to protect the sisters by guarding both their hearts.)

Hi friends.........esp. Janice, Mainer and Mr. Unauthorised.......haha.......nice of u all to drop by my internet home and talking so much rubbish. God sure makes his peops like him--funny.

ok enuff nonsence. Gordan gave me a CD on Pastor Kong Hee's sermons on ANTINOMIANISM. whoa cheem ah. but i liked it and think its applicable to our present day modern church situation. its so easy to get carried away by the seemingly right doctrines where lotsa stuff has been added to your own favour. many practical examples of difference between Hypocrisy and true obedience also mentioned. (highly recommended)

alritey....today wasn't too easy at work, tired mentally as slept little hours. and other stuff to do with not-very-easy ppl there. haha oh well what's new about life with a new bunch of humans. wherever there are humans beings around there's bound to be differences. so.....i'll just let Him handle the 'sai-kang' (hokkien). yep.......today's Bible study in can a was so cool. yeah!

SUNDAY
pretty awesome altho' didn't go for adult service (we have youth service on sat 6pm nowadays) . went to ruth's house for missions meeting and that girl can lead worship man! for her age summore. ok....her house was a mansionette, very neat and colorful. and her bro was the class hunk. heh, the best part was the whole team was there and we had great lame fun as usual playing snatch and sharing lor. huanyang's always teasing the gals lah. derrick is less crappy haha. and kenneth laughs alot more. pris is quieterand deep in thot....meme is blond.

then rushed to parkway parade for bday dinner for Gordan and gang. daniel ng's bday too leh. ayoh so paiseh i forgot to bring pressies. er.....complex thing between Gordan and his mary jane lah. wah lau....if i were stuck in ur situation ah Gordan......i'll go and bang my head against the wall liao. (haha just suaning u)
anyway, big trials for ppl who he knows can take it yah?

Just after the complain
ok guess what? after yesterday's complain not enough work, FLorence and catherine gave me the PIE today. big stuff to do. today was busy yet i still can go on blogging and chatting now. i'm amazed that i can click so well with kim, who is of a totally different religion as me. whoa.....heh. happy with myself. we went to see like 3 or 4 companies today. let's see, York, Tuboscope, Sealed air and one more rite? only Tuboscope caught my eye this time. yesterday was Cameron Cooper that dealt with oil rigs. went for brekkie and lunch with kim again. we yak lots and sometimes her temper or little quirks get to me but we get on well. at office, helped cat with her calling of customers, did some calling for the appointments, and completed the data entry for edwin. waited till 7pm so me and cat could hitch ride from edwin.

ok now that i've caught my breath........
argh! wow i think i was pretty straightforward in yesterday's entry but i'm not mincing my words. i dont care, it's the truth. stubborn old me rite.

yeah hope next week's movie outing for phantom of opera pulls thru well.

just realised how often people worry about how much someone else likes them or doesnt like them. sianz.

the work is Easy yet huh?

the work at my industrial attachment has been light--for now! a bit too light though that i'm worried!! what if the stacks come in when i'm most tired like mid-6 months?

hahaha, the highlight of the day was Kim's verbal diarrhoea while i was working with her around the vicinity and in her car today. she's so chummy with me that she just YAKS....non-stop and full force. ha ha.

well it's real cool actually cos we're both trying to maintain our frenship despite knowing we're both on opposite ends of the pole when it comes to religious beliefs. the irony is that she was studyin in a mission sch st margaret's and she KNOWS the bible q. well.
so.......it's crazy huh. and learn the technical stuff of recycling, maybe come back and work there.

i'm wondering what i saw in some crushes (of past). how silly and funny. strange that i'm still putting out my sail in the sea called Singlehood and sailing on for God's best despite the silly infatuations and some hassle. i mean when people drift apart, isit soo big a deal? big enough to drop your sail and sigh forever? could it be God's will i did not get together with my crushes? if drifting apart was that hard, then i should be crushed to pieces by now with all my crushes not knowing i liked them or my 'potentials' not (or not yet) responding and so on n so forth.

of course, i never believe in two timing...why did he keep saying i flirt with guys?

"Kimbo- Thank you for taking the initiative to initiate dinners to meet up. THank you for being sooo cute. Thank you for bringing laughter to all of us with your 'cute' antics! Thank you for being so candid." --sharmaine wrote this on her blog for me. so sweet rite?
hey all.....me sitting in my new 6-month-attachment office. it's sooo quiet and zuo bo now. help....i'm wondering why they even need me here. wish life was more happening. it will be lah when i get my job scope......ooh. was so excited i couldn't sleep last night. haha. just now was exciting though. had to navigate my way to S.T. building and to Sembitec building in tuas....what an adventure...
