"I-had-a-bad-experience-yesterday-so-i'm transferring-my-mood-to-you"
I'd like to edit the whole of this post and put up this one. This is definitely a more objective way of seeing people and the situation that happens commonly. The title is self-explanatory as to what kind of "comon epidemic" that plagues certain individuals. Disclaimer: i don't deny i'm like that sometimes too. we're all human. But i dare to admit i'm like that. let's take a look at what this person infected with "passing-on-the-mood" does.
Person A has had a bad experience of being told off by Person B about his attitude/lack of aptitude. 'A' gripes and whines about it to his friends and to himself. He wonders and ponders if there was some reason why 'B' made such a strong remark about his/her lack of aptitude. he/she allowed B to change the way he/she feels about himself, and alter his/her self-esteem. on the other hand, B was just trying to make a suggestion for A's benefit. But A chose to harp on the negativity and get miserable for the next few days.
Few days later, A, still in a bad mood and feeling low, decides to meet a fren, X, to have a meal and chat. X offended A by being late, just a little late, and A dishes his whole week's emotional baggage of low self-esteem at X. Hurtful words from B and other past bad experiences come out at X. Basically A was:
1) mirroring himself/herself using X
2) using X as a scaepgoat to vent his/her feelings of inadequacy for the whole week.
so......
