So......we had one of those tri/bi-annual outings

Going back to basics, i have no idea how to start on how i met this wonderful buncha people....who share the same faith as me, who laugh a lot, who bear one another's burdens (not all the time, but we are aware of the 'big' needs when they arrive) who come from all different backgrounds. i guess we all were somehow on the mirc #christian channel 3 yrs back (2002)......some of us at least. at that time, most of us were undergoing some paradigm shifts in life. and i was the dreamer of the group, joining them on their email chains, adding some input occasionally.

so yesterday.... very farney man!
i just had to bump into debbie, beeling and their usual adult gang at the very place i wanted to intro our gang to. 'Phil's steak' (which i found out from Isaac that it had a case of causing severe food poisoning to many ppl in once last time)
arggghhhhhhhh.........if only i had just been cool and stepped forward to say hi! i was so stunned i just stood there and went "help help my pastors r there" to the gang. i think i pulled gordan (as he is 'wide' enuff) to block their view of me. so obviously they noticed me even more.....in the end we ate at thai zhi cha kopitiam, and i had to go back to say a proper hi to them. :P
i noticed some of us didnt talk much lei or didn't get a chance to share so much lah. well......not to worry........the next time whoever organising, prepare more sharing. we did share some meaningful stuff like about mission trips and daniel ng's gg on one in june. philippines. i shared about Polpot's torture chamber lah....sometimes i wonder why history is so horrid but yet people have remained strong and faithful to God.

yeah and heavenly Dad really sees ok. no kidding.....last week he knew it was a really really really bad week for me and He just makes up for it by sending so much encouragement! like how our SembCorp team (8 of us chapalang-ly formed) got together last min to do up a hamster cage....in 3 days....which we NEVER thot would win anything.....and guess what?? WE GOT 2ND IN THE COMPETITION ON SATURDAY!!!!
