Happening day! *with Gusto*

Ok let's see, I.A. really made me TREASURE staying in hall!! ooh man.......all the peers i just can't get enuff of today at Cross de roads (crossroads, crusade)! haha you guys rock big time man. Haha even the president asked me why i so hyper today.

ok let's see........amidst all the events of today....i just realised how much i miss staying in hall. it's ok at home but the friends made while in hostel........and the familiarity of people around, the stretch of road from hall 2 to hall 5 ....the crusade corner....complaining about school life with CEE friends, lighthearted talk with Eileen, joy and diana, occasional lunch with Sem 1 classmates, or maybe its just that i totally MISS each and every one of the crusaders....will definitely "fight" for the stay in year 4 again......which sem? pray first.....

it's amazing how the Holy Spirit works...
faced two events just recently, two today and one the past 3 weeks where it was definitely God's Holy Spirit just telling me and others stuff. here they are:

1) CHC's Pastor Kong hee's CD on Antinomialism. despite being just a CD, there was FOUR in one case...so decided it must be pretty SERIOUS....and there was the words "cheap grace" there which shocked me. so i listened and the Holy spirit shed a lot of light through it. what i really liked about it is that this speaker doesn't mind ppl scrutinising what he says and invites listeners to 'test the spirit behind what he preaches too'.

2) I bumped into this 40-over yr old man today, who has a daughter my age while at airport doing my job today. guess what happened?!! i wanted to interview ppl on their different jobs there when he told me no time as they all busy. then later he approached me we yakked about my I.A. job under NTU's course. at first didn't know he was a christian......

then he just began to tell me things i didn't realise about myself. and things i didn't tell him about myself ("you must be the elder sibling in your family rite?" "this topic is your passion rite?" "have you been praying about your future career? must find out more about what job you're gonna do." and some other questions.)

believe me i was stunned speechless. later he encouraged me to keep on praying esp. for the career thing when i grad. at the end of the surprisingly God-centred conversation he too agreed it might be this arranged encounter from Daddy up there (God).....nudging us about His watchfulness.

ayah God always do funny things one nowadays....esp. when u do expect Him to. even when you don't expect Him to he will still do funny things one lor. :)

Must be careful when we chitchat with strangers; they could be angels or prophets in disguise !!!

The CD is really good! The teaching is to remind us of the "cheap grace" that has been going on around for sometime. Didn't you heard about it?
