Kazakhstan Missions reflection

Dear future me/friends,
Anywayz...life has been really challenging this day and age.

As Christian Individuals, the harder part (for me) is actually
1) Staying unpolluted in a polluted world
2) Holding fast to God's word and being 100% obedient
3) Knowing that what really matters after this world ends
(God and His word, and our dear friends who we see in heaven.)

All else, even toil, is truly MEANINGLESS! Scary stuff to think about--martyrs and all, as read on papers, extremely thought provoking...

Yeah learnt lots from my team mates and the american missionaries during the mission trip. About relationships, loving strangers, loving people who don't speak your language, re-enforcing the gospel and that taking steps of faith requires action first and results will follow.

God kinda talked to me through Pris and Ruth and Mimi and the very obedient lives of the Missionaries there about my handling affairs of the heart.

Emotions are just emotions and not to base major decisions on them. we live by truth as Christians and not feeling. Worshipping God in spirit and in truth means in TRUTH (His word, knowing facts abt Him) and in Spirit (emotions, being, senses).

And trusting God totally with EVERY part of our lives is in no way easy, but THINK, don't our eternal security ALREADY depend on this faith in WHO 'I AM' is? that surely must include who our future partners are, if we are to marry. if we can be concerned about it, what more about our MAKER, who just loves "being with us and loving us".
i hate to be unpopular for doing what is right and making the RIGHT decision but well, isn't that what a life set apart is supposed to be?
